- Decreases absorption of tetracycline antibiotics

- Interacts with aluminum-containing antacids
- Interacts with magnesium-containing antacids
- Decreases calcium absorption when used with mineral oil

Contraindications
- Incomplete or infrequent bowel movements
- Kidney stone
- Kidney disease
- Increased activity of the parathyroid gland
- High amount of Calcium in urine

- Extreme loss of body water
