Indications

Dosage & Administration

400mg: 2-3 tablets with meal

Interaction

Decreases absorption of biphosphonates, quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline antibiotics
Interacts with thiazide-type diuretics, aluminum- and magnesium-containing antacids
Affects absorption with mineral oil, stimulant laxatives, glucocorticoids, oral contraceptives, NSAIDs, and corticosteroids

Contraindications

Not for incomplete/in-frequent bowel movements, kidney stone, kidney disease, high calcium in urine/blood, extreme loss of body water
