Indications

  • Relieves dryness of the eye
  • Relieves irritation from exposure to wind or sun

Composition

  • Active Substance: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
  • Preservative: Purite 0.0075%

Pharmacology

Alleviates symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye syndromes

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day or as needed

Interaction

Interval of at least 5 minutes required between each application of different eye medicines

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient

  • Eye Irritation or Pruritus
  • Visual disturbance
  • Ocular discharge

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safe use during pregnancy and lactation not established. Consult doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding

Precautions & Warnings

  • Administer concomitant ocular medication 15 minutes prior
  • Remove contact lenses before use
  • Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
  • Avoid touching tip to surfaces
  • Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

  • Pediatric use: Not for use in infants and small children under 3 years
  • Geriatric use: No overall differences observed in safety or effectiveness between elderly and other adult patients

Storage Conditions

Use within 30 days after opening. Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place. Protect from light. Keep away from children
