Composition

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
Purite 0.0075% as preservative

Pharmacology

Ocular lubricant
Alleviates symptoms of dry eye syndromes
Provides long lasting protection
Lubricating formulation similar to normal tears
Mild & non-sensitizing preservative

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in affected eye(s) 4 times a day
Can be used as needed

Interaction

Interval of at least 5 minutes between applications if several medicines are administered to the eye

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient

Precautions & Warnings

Administer concomitant ocular medication 15 minutes prior

Discard if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
Avoid tip contamination
Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

Not recommended for infants and small children under 3 years
No observed differences in safety or effectiveness for elderly patients
