Indications

  • Relieves irritation due to dryness of the eye
  • Relieves discomfort due to exposure to wind or sun

Composition

  • Active Substance: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
  • Preservative: Purite 0.0075%

Pharmacology

Provides alleviation in moderate to severe dry eye syndromes, long lasting protection against dryness and irritation

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day or as needed

Interaction

Interval of at least 5 minutes required between each application of different medicines to the eye

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product

  • Visual disturbance
  • Ocular discharge

Safe use during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Seek doctor's advice if pregnant or breastfeeding

Precautions & Warnings

  • Concomitant ocular medication should be administered 15 minutes prior
  • Remove contact lenses before use
  • Do not use if solution changes color & becomes cloudy
  • Avoid touching tip to avoid contamination
  • Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

  • Pediatric use: Not for use in infants and small children under 3 years
  • Geriatric use: No observed differences in safety or effectiveness in elderly vs. other adult patients

Storage Conditions

Use within 30 days after opening, store at temperature not exceeding 30°C, protect from light, keep away from children
