Pharmacology

Bactericidal against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria

Interaction

  • Increases in prothrombin times noted in a few patients
  • Care should be taken in patients receiving anticoagulant therapy

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to cephalosporin antibiotics
