Description
- Orally active cephalosporin antibiotic
- Bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms
- Indicated for acute infections caused by susceptible microorganisms

- Broad-spectrum antibiotic
- Third generation semisynthetic cephalosporin antibiotic
- Bactericidal against broad spectrum of bacteria
- Interferes in the synthesis of bacterial cell wall
- Usual treatment course of 7-14 days

- Pharmacokinetics unaffected by food intake
