Pharmacology
- Inhibitor of gastric acid secretion
- Blocker of hydrogen-potassium-adenosine triphosphatase (H+/K+ ATPase) enzyme system
- Onset of anti-secretory effect within one hour
- Maximum effect occurring within two hours
