Treatment of premature ejaculation in men 18 to 64 years of age
Ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on, or shortly after penetration
Marked personal distress or interpersonal difficulty as a consequence of PE
Poor control over ejaculation

Inhibition of neuronal reuptake of serotonin
Potentiation of neurotransmitter's action
Rapid absorption with maximum plasma concentrations occurring 1-2 hours after intake
Absolute bioavailability is 42%
Extensive metabolism to multiple metabolites primarily through various biotransformational pathways
Rapid distribution with a mean steady state volume of distribution of 162 L
Terminal half-life is approximately 19 hours

Recommended starting dose for adult men is 30 mg
Maximum recommended dosing frequency is once every 24 hours
Dose may be increased to the maximum recommended dose of 60 mg if 30 mg is insufficient
Not recommended for use in individuals below 18 years of age
Caution advised in patients with mild or moderate renal impairment
Contraindicated in patients with moderate and severe hepatic impairment

Concomitant administration with CNS active medicinal products
Prescribed with caution in patients who use PDE5 inhibitors
Prescribed with caution in patients who use alpha adrenergic receptor antagonists
Caution advised when used in patients taking Warfarin chronically
Concomitant use of alcohol could increase the chance or severity of adverse reactions

Known hypersensitivity to Dapoxetine Hydrochloride
Significant pathological cardiac conditions
Concomitant treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors
Concomitant treatment with serotonin reuptake inhibitors
Not recommended within 14 days of discontinuing treatment with serotonergic medicinal/herbal products

Not to be used in combination with recreational drugs
Avoid alcohol while taking Dapoxetine
Patients could experience syncope at any time during their treatment
An orthostatic test should be performed before initiating therapy
Caution advised in patients taking Dapoxetine with medicinal products known to affect platelet function
Prescribed with caution in patients who use PDE5 inhibitors
Not recommended in patients with a history of bleeding or coagulation disorders
