Dosage & Administration
- Usual dose of 60 mg thrice daily for film-coated formulation
- Dosage may vary between individual patients
- Starting dose of 60 mg twice daily for elderly and patients with impaired hepatic or renal function
- Initial dose of 90 mg or 120 mg twice daily for sustained release formulation
Interaction
- Safe administration with short- or long-acting nitrates
- Caution and careful dosage titration when administered with other drugs affecting cardiac contractility or conduction

- Severe hypertension
- Acute myocardial infarction
