Description

  • Etoricoxib is a COX-2 specific inhibitor
  • Indicated for Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gouty arthritis
  • Can be used for short-term treatment of moderate pain associated with dental surgery
  • Selective COX-2 inhibition for symptomatic relief
  • Not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Storage temperature below 30°C, protect from light and moisture

Dosage and Administration

  • Recommended daily doses for different conditions
  • 30 mg for Osteoarthritis, may increase to 60 mg if necessary
  • 90 mg for Rheumatoid arthritis and Ankylosing spondylitis
  • 120 mg for acute gouty arthritis, limited to 8 days
  • 90 mg for postoperative dental surgery pain, maximum of 3 days
  • Consider lowest effective dose due to increased cardiovascular risks
