Indications
- Relief of inflammatory manifestations of eczema/dermatitis
Pharmacology
- Glucocorticoid with high topical anti-inflammatory potency
- Therapeutic index greater than most commonly available steroids
- High degree of selectivity for glucocorticoid receptor

- Cream: Apply a thin layer once daily

Contraindications
- In Rosacea, Acne vulgaris, Perioral dermatitis
- Contraindicated in primary cutaneous viral infections
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
- Not indicated in children under one year of age
Side Effects
- Local burning and pruritus reported
- Signs of hypersensitivity require immediate stop of application
- Prolonged and intensive treatment may cause atrophic changes in the skin
- Secondary infection and allergic contact dermatitis reported
- Exacerbation of dermatoses with corticosteroid use
- Systemic absorption may lead to hypercorticism

Precautions & Warnings

- Withdrawal of topical corticosteroid therapy for spread of infection
