Indications
- Bacterial conjunctivitis treatment

Pharmacology
- Inhibition of DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV

Dosage & Administration
- 0.3% eye drops recommended dosage regimen
- 0.5% eye drops dosage for patients 1 year of age or older
- Dosage for Days 1 and 2
- Dosage for Days 3 through 7
Interaction
- Elevation of plasma concentrations of theophylline
- Interference with caffeine metabolism
- Enhanced effects of oral anticoagulant warfarin
- Transient elevations in serum creatinine with cyclosporine concomitant use
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Gatifloxacin or other quinolones
- Components hypersensitivity
- Avoid subconjunctival injection
- Avoid introduction into the anterior chamber of the eye
Side Effects

- Increased lacrimation
