Formulation

Dosage Range

  • 40-80 mg daily
  • Up to 320 mg daily in divided doses when needed
  • One to four tablets (maximum 120 mg) in a single intake at breakfast time

Administration

  • Take before meal
  • Take with a glass of water
  • Do not chew or crush
  • Always eat a meal after taking the tablet(s)

  • With alpha-glucosidase inhibitor

Overdose Management

Missed Dose Instruction

  • Take the next dose at the usual time
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

Cautions for Driving and Using Machines

  • Ability to concentrate/react may be impaired if blood sugar is too low or too high
  • Can endanger oneself or others
