Indications
- Antispasmodic medication
- Relief from smooth muscle spasms
- Treatment for dysmenorrhea
- Treatment for gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract spasms
- Relief from renal or biliary severe pain
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 20mg four times daily
- Pediatric dosage: 10mg three times daily (6-12 years)
- Injection dosage: 20mg for adults, increased dosage for endoscopy
Contraindications
- Prostatic enlargement
- Paralytic ileus or pyloric stenosis
- Patients with glaucoma
- Avoid in elderly patients
Side Effects
- Dry mouth
- Dilated pupils
- Increased intraocular pressure
- Flushing
- Skin dryness
- Bradycardia and subsequent tachycardia
- Dizziness
- Vomiting
- Drowsiness
- Unsteadiness
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Caution during the first trimester of pregnancy
- Use with caution during lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- May cause drowsiness and dizziness
- Cautious use while operating vehicles or machinery
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- Use with caution in hyperthyroidism and cardiac insufficiency

Reconstitution
- Can be reconstituted with Dextrose or 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection
