Indications
- Topical treatment of Acne vulgaris
Pharmacology
- Combination of lincosamide antibiotic Clindamycin phosphate and retinoid Tretinoin
- Clindamycin binds with 50s ribosomal subunit of bacteria
- Tretinoin decreases cohesiveness of follicular epithelial cells
Dosage & Administration
- Apply before sleep and in the morning
- Wash face gently with mild soap and water before application
- Apply sunscreen after application of gel
- Do not wash face more than 2 or 3 times a day
- Safety and effectiveness in children below 12 years not established
Interaction
- Caution with other potentially irritating topical products
- Decreased activity with concomitant use of Erythromycin
- Increased activity with concomitant use of neuromuscular medicine
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Clindamycin or Tretinoin

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Unknown excretion in human milk
- Exercise caution with nursing mothers
