- Increased risk of atrial fibrillation
- Hyperkalemia monitoring in diabetes, renal failure
- Masking of signs of infection progression
- Monitoring of liver function tests
- Discontinue in case of visual disturbances
- Impairment of female fertility
- Consider withdrawal in women attempting to conceive
