Indications
- Treatment of signs & symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis
- Treatment of vernal kerato-conjunctivitis
- Treatment of blepharitis

Pharmacology
- Potent anti-allergic substance
- Non-competitive histamine (H1) receptor blocking property
- Inhibition of mediators release
- Stabilization of mast cells
- Decrease in chemotaxis
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dosage for adults
- Recommended dosage for children 3 years and older
- Consultation required for children under 3 years
Interaction
- Interval required when used concomitantly with other eye medications
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ketotifen or any of the components

- Corneal epithelial erosion
- Blurring of vision upon drug instillation
- Dry eyes
- Eyelid disorder
- Conjunctivitis
- Eye pain
- Photophobia
- Subconjunctival haemorrhage
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Caution during pregnancy
- Limited data on use in pregnant women
- Systemic levels much lower after ocular administration
- Possible excretion into breast milk
- Can be used during lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative
- Avoid contact with soft contact lenses
- Lenses should be removed before application
- Wait 15 minutes before reinserting lenses

- No reported cases of overdose
- Potential oral ingestion safety
- Clinical results of oral ingestion up to 20 mg
