Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma
- Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including rhinitis, and conjunctivitis
- Alleviating itching, pain, and tenderness associated with neurofibroma
- Symptomatic treatment of allergy i.e. hayfever, urticaria
Pharmacology
- Anti-allergic properties
- Antihistamine properties
- Marked anti-anaphylactic properties
- Sustained inhibitory effect on histamine reactions
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Children dosage (above 3 years): 1 mg twice daily with food
- Elderly dosage: Same as adult dose or as advised by the physician
Interaction
May potentiate the effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohols
Contraindications
Avoid concomitant use with oral antidiabetic agents

Pregnancy & Lactation
Not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- Continue previous treatment for a minimum of two weeks after starting
