Indications

  • Peptic ulcer diseases
  • Gastroesophageal reflux diseases
  • Ulcer induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori (in combination with antibiotics)
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome

Pharmacology

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses the final step in gastric acid production by covalently binding to the H+/K+ATPase enzyme system.

  • Dosage for duodenal ulcer
