Description
- Sterile, non-pyrogenic, aqueous solution
- Contains Z-Z-Lidocaine
- Amide type local anaesthetic
- Fast onset and intermediate duration of action
- Stabilizes neuronal membrane by inhibiting ionic fluxes
Pharmacology
- Acts by inhibiting sodium influx through neuronal cell membrane
- Inhibits voltage-gated sodium channels
Dosage
- Adjusted according to patient response and site of administration
- Adult maximum individual dose: 4.5mg/kg
- Maximum total dose: 300 mg
