Indications
- Peptic ulcer diseases

Pharmacology
- Proton pump inhibitor
- Suppression of acid secretion
- Covalently binds to H+/K+ATPase enzyme system
- Inhibition of basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion
Dosage & Administration
- Daily dosage for gastric ulcer, reflux disease, and duodenal ulcer
- Prophylaxis of NSAID-associated gastric or duodenal ulcer
- Management of Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
- IV injection dosage for ulcers, reflux disease, prevention of rebleeding, and acid aspiration
Interaction
No significant drug interactions observed in clinical studies
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any components
Side Effects
- Well tolerated in short-term and long-term treatment
- Common side effects: headache, diarrhea
- Rare side effects: abdominal pain, flatulence, rash, insomnia, hyperglycemia

- No adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women
- Excretion in human milk

- Tablet should not be split, chewed or crushed
