Indications

• Fast relief from seasonal allergic rhinitis
• Effective alleviation of perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms
• Treatment for skin allergies including chronic urticaria
• Relief from symptoms such as sneezing and nasal discharge

Pharmacology

• Contains Loratadine
• Non-sedative histamine H1 receptor antagonist
• Long-acting tricyclic antihistamine
• Selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonistic activity

Dosage & Administration

• Adult dosage: one tablet once daily
• Children 2-12 years: dosage based on body weight
• Not recommended for children below 2 years

Interaction

• No hazardous interactions with other drugs reported
• No potentiating effects when administered with alcohol
• Concomitant therapy with certain drugs may elevate plasma concentrations of either drug

Contraindications

• Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to its components

Side Effects

• Low incidence of adverse events observed during clinical studies
• Comparable to placebo in terms of sedation and anticholinergic effects

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Not advisable for use during pregnancy due to lack of human experience
• Excreted in breast milk in small amounts
