Indications
- Relief from seasonal allergic rhinitis
- Relief from perennial allergic rhinitis
- Relief from skin allergies
- Alleviates symptoms of allergic rhinitis
- Effective in idiopathic urticaria
- Relief of symptoms in children over 2 years
Pharmacology
- Contains Loratadine
- Non-sedative histamine H1 receptor antagonist
- Antiallergic properties
- Long-acting tricyclic antihistamine
- Selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonistic activity
Dosage & Administration
- One tablet daily for adults and children over 12 years
- Different dosage for children 2-12 years based on body weight
- Not recommended for children below 2 years of age
Interaction
- No reports of hazardous interactions with other drugs
- No potentiating effects with alcohol
- Concomitant therapy may elevate plasma concentrations of drugs metabolized by hepatic cytochromes P450 3A4 and 2D6
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to components

- Comparable adverse event incidence to placebo
- No sedation or anticholinergic effects observed in clinical studies
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Not advisable during pregnancy
- Excreted in breast milk in a very small amount
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in patients with liver impairment or renal insufficiency
