Indications

Pharmacology
- Fast relief of minor aches and pains of muscles & joints
- Contains Methyl salicylate and Menthol
- Penetrates deep for long-lasting relief
- Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins
- Increases drug penetration and onset of action
Dosage & Administration
- Adult and children 2 years of age and older
- Apply thin layer to affected area
- Gently massage until cream disappears
- Apply not more than 3 to 4 times daily
Interaction
- Methyl Salicylate may increase Warfarin action
Contraindications
- Allergy to salicylate or sensitivity to any components
- Application to broken skin or raw surfaces
Side Effects
- Redness or irritation
- Mild to moderate local irritation
- Erythema
- Rash
- Desquamation
- Pruritis
- Relative local reaction at application site
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding
Precautions & Warnings
- External use only
- Do not use with a heating pad
- Keep away from children
- Do not swallow
- Do not bandage tightly
- Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin
- Do not use if redness or excessive irritation develops
- Seek medical help if swallowed
Overdose Effects
- Large amount may cause absorption through skin
- May cause salicylism
- Symptoms include tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, vomiting
