Indications
- Topical treatment of impetigo
- Treatment of folliculitis
- Treatment of furunculosis
Pharmacology
- Antibacterial agent produced by fermentation
- Active against Staphylococcus aureus
- Active against Streptococcus pyogenes
- Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis
Dosage & Administration
- Apply to affected area 3 times daily for up to 10 days
- Established safety and effectiveness in age range of 2 months to 16 years
