Description
- Relieves itchy, watery, red, and swollen eyes
- Reduces allergy symptoms in the eyes and nose
- Treats signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis
Dosage instructions
- Eye Drops - 0.1%: One drop in each affected eye two times per day at an interval of 6 to 8 hours
- Administer Olopatadine Nasal Spray by the intranasal route only
- Adults: Take 1 tablet (5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice daily, in the morning and before going to bed
Administration instructions
- How to use the Nasal Spray- Shake the bottle gently and remove the dust cover
- Cleaning: The nasal spray should be cleaned at least once a week
Pharmacology
- Blocks the action of histamine in the body
- Stabilizes mast cells and inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators
- Absorbed with individual peak plasma concentrations observed between 30 minutes and 1 hour after administration
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in persons with a known hypersensitivity to any component of this product
- Not recommended for use if allergic to it
