Osinib 80 mg (Tablet)

Indications

• First-line treatment for metastatic NSCLC with specific EGFR mutations
• Treatment for metastatic EGFR T790M mutation-positive NSCLC
• Treatment after progression on EGFR TKI therapy

Pharmacology

• Kinase inhibitor targeting mutant forms of EGFR
• Exhibits anti-tumor activity against NSCLC lines harboring EGFR mutations
• Inhibits activity of HER2, HER3, and HER4

Dosage & Administration

• Recommended dose of 80 mg tablet once daily
• Can be taken with or without food
• Instructions for administration via nasogastric tube

Interaction

• Avoid concomitant use with strong CYP3A inhibitors
• Avoid with drugs sensitive to CYP3A, BCRP, or CYP1A2
• Effect on other drugs

Side Effects

• Common adverse reactions include diarrhea, rash, dry skin, nail toxicity, stomatitis, fatigue, and decreased appetite

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Can cause fetal harm
• Advice on contraception for females and males
• Potential effects on fertility

Precautions & Warnings

• Interstitial lung disease (ILD)/pneumonitis
• QTc interval prolongation monitoring
• Assessment of cardiomyopathy
• Embryo-fetal toxicity precautions

Use in Special Populations

• No significant differences based on age, sex, ethnicity, etc.
• No established use in pediatric patients
• No overall differences in effectiveness based on age
