Description
- Oxaliplat is used in combination with infusional 5-fluorouracil/folinic acid for the adjuvant treatment of stage III colon cancer and the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer.
Indications
- Adjuvant treatment of stage III colon cancer after complete resection

Pharmacology
- Undergoes nonenzymatic conversion to active derivatives
- Forms Pt-DNA crosslinks inhibiting DNA replication and transcription
- Shows antitumor activity against colon carcinoma
