Indications

Dosage & Administration
- Usual adult tablet dosage: 0.5 mg daily
- Usual adult IV dosage: A single IV dose of 0.075 mg over 10 seconds
- Specific dosages for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting
- Specific dosages for radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting
- Specific dosage for post-operative nausea and vomiting
- Children's dosage: Single IV dose at 20 mcg/kg body weight
Interaction
- Safe administration with corticosteroids, analgesics, antiemetics, antinauseants, antispasmodics, and anticholinergic agents
- No inhibition of the antitumor activity of certain chemotherapeutic agents
- No significant pharmacokinetic interactions with metoclopramide
- Not a known inhibitor or inducer of certain CYP enzymes

- Hypersensitivity to the drug or its components

Use in Special Populations
- No dosage adjustment recommended in elderly patients >65 years of age
