Indications
- Management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults
- Short-term management of acute pain

- Increase in pain threshold
- Inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes
- Inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis
- Synthetic opioid analgesic
- Binding to opioid receptors
- Inhibition of norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose of 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours
- Maximum of 8 tablets per day
- Can be administered without regard to food
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to tramadol or paracetamol
- Contraindication where opioids are contraindicated

Use in Special Populations
- Not studied in pediatric population
- Caution for dose selection in elderly patients
- Not studied in patients with impaired renal function
- Not studied in patients with impaired hepatic function
