Indications
- Treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus infection
- Combination therapy for patients with compensated liver disease
- Treatment of adult CHC patients coinfected with HIV
Pharmacology
- Inhibitory action against respiratory syncytial virus, influenza virus, and herpes simplex virus
- Mechanism of action affecting viral nucleic acid synthesis
