Description

Dosage instructions

Pharmacology
Rosunor contains Rosuvastatin, a selective and competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase. It works by increasing the number of hepatic LDL receptors and inhibiting hepatic synthesis of VLDL and LDL particles.
Interaction warnings
- Cyclosporine increases Rosunor exposure, limiting the dose to 5 mg/day
- Combining Rosunor with Gemfibrozil should be avoided, but if necessary, limit the dose to 10 mg/day
Contraindications
- Rosunor is contraindicated for individuals with known hypersensitivity to its components
- It is also contraindicated for patients with liver disease, pregnant or breastfeeding women
