Indications
- Chronic pancreatitis

Composition
- 325 mg Pancreatin BP per tablet
- Amylase activity: 7800 units
- Protease activity: 455 units
- Lipase activity: 6500 units
Pharmacology
- Amylase hydrolyzes dietary starch to maltose
- Protease cleaves peptide bonds in proteins and polypeptides
- Lipase hydrolyzes triglycerides into fatty acids and monoglycerides
- Disintegrates in the alkaline medium of the duodenum
Dosage & Administration
- 2-3 tablets to be swallowed whole with little water immediately after or during meal
Interaction
- Enteric coating ruptures in alkaline media
- Concurrent use with antacid should be avoided

- Hypersensitivity to Pancreatin
