Description
Rosterol is a medication indicated for primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceredemia, dysbetalipoproteinemia, homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis, pediatric patients with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, risk reduction of Myocardial Infarction (MI) and stroke, and as a part of a treatment strategy. It is a selective and competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, and the dosage, administration, interactions, contraindications, side effects, pregnancy & lactation, precautions & warnings, overdose effects, therapeutic class, storage conditions, and chemical structure, among others.
