Description
- Treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) infection as a component of a combination antiviral treatment regimen
- Established efficacy in subjects with HCV genotype 1, 2, 3 or 4 infection
- Recommended for use in combination with Ribavirin or Pegylated Interferon for the treatment of CHC
- Nucleotide analog inhibitor targeting HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase
- Dosage: One 400 mg tablet taken once daily with or without food
- Interaction with drugs that are P-gp inducers or inhibitors
- Contraindications for use in pregnant women and specific precautions for co-administration with amiodarone
