Indications
- Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

Pharmacology
- Selective phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor
- Increases cGMP in smooth muscle cells
- Causes smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow into the corpus cavernosum
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended starting dose of 10 mg for Erectile Dysfunction
- Recommended dose of 5 mg for Benign prostatic hyperplasia
- Effective for up to 36 hours
Interaction
- May interact with Nitrates, Alpha adrenergic blockers, Antihypertensives, Alcohol, Antacids, Ketoconazole, Ritonavir, Erythromycin, Itraconazole, Grapefruit juice, Rifampin, Carbamazepine, Phenytoin & Phenobarbital
