Pharmacology
- Vermicidal: 1
- Ovicidal: 1
- Larvicidal: 1
- Mode of action: Inhibitory effect on tubulin polymerization
Dosage & Administration
- 400 mg single dose for various infections
- 400 mg daily for strongyloidiasis or taeniasis
- 200 mg single dose for children of 1-2 years
- Hydatid disease treatment based on patient's weight
- 400 mg for giardiasis
