Indications

Dosage & Administration

  • initial dose of Telmisartan monotherapy 80 mg
  • titration to 160 mg/25 mg
  • administration with other antihypertensive drugs

Interaction

  • caution with aliskiren, digoxin, lithium
  • interaction with other high blood pressure medicines
  • interaction with ACE blockers
  • interference with certain laboratory tests

Contraindications

  • hypersensitivity to Telmisartan or Hydrochlorothiazide
  • co-administration contraindicated with aliskiren in diabetes patients
