Description
Tinium is an antispasmodic drug used for symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the digestive tract, biliary system, and urological and gynaecological diseases.
Indications
- Reduces muscles spasm of the intestine, biliary system, bladder, and uterus
- Symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the digestive tract
- Symptomatic treatment of pain related to biliary system disorders
- Treatment of spasm and pain in urological and gynaecological diseases
Pharmacology
- Competitive antagonist of Acetylcholine and Histamine
- Strengthens calcium bond with membrane phospholipids and proteins
- Inhibits intracellular contractile protein of visceral cells
Dosage & Administration
Adult dose: 2-6 tablets or 3-9 teaspoonfuls syrup daily in divided doses. Children: 3 ml/kg or 6 mg/kg body weight daily in divided doses. Injection: 1 Tiemonium Methylsulphate Injection 3 times daily. Suppository: 20 mg Tiemonium Methylsulphate suppository two or three times daily.

Should not be used with other drugs without consulting a physician
Contraindications
- Urethroprostatic disorder involving a risk of urine retention
- Risk of angle closure glaucoma
