Indications
Reduces muscle spasm of the intestine, biliary system, bladder, and uterus
Pharmacology
Tiemonium Methylsulphate acts as a competitive antagonist of Acetylcholine and Histamine, and strengthens calcium bond with membrane phospholipids and proteins
Dosage and Administration
- Tablet/Syrup Adult Dose: 2-6 tablets or 3-9 teaspoonfuls daily in divided doses
- Tablet/Syrup Children Dose: 3 ml/kg or 6 mg/kg body weight daily in divided doses
- Injection Dosage: 1 Tiemonium Methylsulphate Injection 3 times daily
- Suppository Dosage: 20 mg Tiemonium Methylsulphate suppository two or three times daily

Should not be used with other drugs without consulting a physician
Contraindications
Not for urethroprostatic disorder involving a risk of urine retention. Contraindicated in patients at risk of angle closure glaucoma
Side Effects
May cause hypotension & tachycardia in certain individuals
Pregnancy & Lactation
Studies did not reveal teratogenic effects, caution advised for nursing mothers
Precautions & Warnings
- Use caution in patients with prostate disorders, chronic bronchitis, coronary insufficiency, ambient hyperthermia, renal & hepatic insufficiency
- Risks of visual disturbances can affect driving or machine usage
