Indications

  • Relieves dryness of the eye
  • Relieves irritation due to wind or sun exposure

Composition

  • Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
  • Purite 0.0075% as preservative

Pharmacology

  • Ocular lubricant
  • Alleviates symptoms of dry eye syndrome
  • Long-lasting protection against dryness and irritation
  • Lubricating formulation similar to normal tears
  • Non-sensitising preservative

Dosage & Administration

  • Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day
  • Or as needed

Interaction

  • Interval of at least 5 minutes between each application if several medicines are to be administered to the eye

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product

Side Effects

  • Burning
  • Eye Irritation or Pruritus
  • Visual disturbance
  • Ocular discharge

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Safe use not established during pregnancy and lactation
  • Seek doctor's advice if pregnant or breastfeeding

Precautions & Warnings

  • Administer concomitant ocular medication 15 minutes prior
  • Remove contact lenses before use
  • Discard if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
  • Avoid touching tip of container to surfaces
  • Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

  • Not for use in infants and small children under 3 years
  • No observed differences in safety or effectiveness in elderly patients

Storage Conditions

  • Use within 30 days after opening
  • Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C
  • Store in a dry place
  • Protect from light
  • Keep away from children
