Interactions
- Clinically significant drug-drug interactions with MAOI
- May interrupt the metabolism or activity of Carbamazepine, Phenytoin, or Cimetidine
- Patient should avoid Alcohol & Diazepam
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mirtazapine or excipients
- Concomitant use with MAO inhibitor is contraindicated
- Should not be used within 14 days of initiating or discontinuing therapy with MAOI
