Indications

Eradication of H. pylori in active chronic gastric, duodenal and gastric ulcers

Pharmacology

  • Similar bactericidal action as penicillin (Amoxicillin)
  • Inhibition of microsomal protein synthesis in susceptible organisms (Clarithromycin)
  • Suppression of gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H+,K+ ATPase (Rabeprazole)
