Indications

  • Osteoarthritis (OA)
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Pain and signs of inflammation associated with acute gouty arthritis
  • Moderate pain associated with dental surgery

Symptomatic Relief Dosage

  • 30 mg once daily for Osteoarthritis
  • 90 mg once daily for Rheumatoid arthritis and Ankylosing spondylitis
  • 120 mg once daily for Acute gouty arthritis
  • 90 mg once daily for Postoperative dental surgery pain, up to 3 days

Interaction with Medicines

  • Oral anticoagulants
  • Diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and Angiotensin II Antagonists
  • Acetylsalicylic Acid
  • Ciclosporin and tacrolimus
  • Lithium

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
  • Active peptic ulceration or gastro-intestinal (GI) bleeding
  • Bronchospasm, rhinitis, nasal polyps, allergic-type reactions to NSAIDs
  • Pregnancy and lactation
  • Severe hepatic dysfunction
  • Estimated renal creatinine clearance <30 ml/min
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, cerebrovascular disease
