Indications

• Allergic rhino conjunctivitis (seasonal and perennial)
• Urticaria
• Hay fever symptomatic relief

Pharmacology

• Potent histamine antagonist
• Selective & high affinity to H1 receptor
• Non-sedating
• Long-acting
• Excellent safety profile

Dosage & Administration

• 20 mg tablet once daily for adults & adolescents
• 10 mg mouth dissolving tablet for children between 6 to 11 years
• 4 ml dose for children between 2 to 11 years

Interaction

• Increased concentration with ketoconazole, erythromycin, cyclosporine or diltiazem
• No potentiation with lorazepam
• Similar psychomotor performance with alcohol intake

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to active substance or excipients
