Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to Ramipril or ACE Inhibitors
  • History of Angioedema
  • Concomitant Use with Sacubitril/Valsartan Therapy

  • Hypotensive or Haemodynamically Unstable States
  • Concomitant Use with Aliskiren-containing Medicines or Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonists (AIIRAs)
  • During Pregnancy

Side Effects

Overdose Effects

  • Symptoms: Hypotension, Shock, Bradycardia, Electrolyte Disturbances, Renal Failure
  • Management: Detoxifcation by Gastric Lavage, Administration of adsorbents, Sodium Sulfate, Alpha1-adrenergic Agonists, Volume and Salt Substitution
