Description

• Citrosol is a stable and pleasant-tasting oral systemic alkalizer. It is indicated for relieving discomfort in urinary tract infections, preventing kidney stones, using with uricosuric agents to prevent gout, and treating acidosis caused by kidney diseases. It is well-tolerated and highly palatable, even with long-term use. It does not neutralize gastric juice or disturb digestion.

• 10 ml dosage for adults and children over 6 years, 3 times daily, diluted with 1 glass of water for UTI relief

• Concurrent administration of potassium-containing medication, potassium-sparing diuretics, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, or cardiac glycosides may lead to toxicity

• Severe renal impairment with oliguria or azotemia

• Acute dehydration
• Severe myocardial damage
• Hyperkalemia from any cause
