Indications
- treatment of elevated intraocular pressure
- ocular hypertension
- open-angle glaucoma
Pharmacology
- inhibition of carbonic anhydrase
- decrease in aqueous humor secretion
- reduction in intraocular pressure
Dosage & Administration
- shaking before use
- 1 drop in affected eye(s) three times daily
- concomitant use with other topical ophthalmic products
- pediatric use
- geriatric use
Interaction
- potential drug interactions with oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitors
- high-dose salicylate therapy
