Description

Mode of action
Decreases plasma angiotensin II, leading to antihypertensive activity and effective management of heart failure
Indications
- Hypertension

- Treatment of glomerular or incipient nephropathy
Renal impairment dosage
- Hypertension: 1.25mg daily, up to 5mg daily
- Heart failure: 1.25mg-2.5mg daily, up to 2.5mg twice daily

- Excessive peripheral vasodilatation
- Bradycardia
- Electrolyte disturbances
- Renal failure
